I'm curious! (as writers tend to be) :-) How is your current writing project coming along? Are you keeping up with goals you might have made at the first of the year?

I'm in the editing stages of book 3, waiting on the first round of beta readers, working on the back cover blurb and cover art...semi-distracted by the spring cleaning bug.

How 'bout you? Anything exciting going on in your world? Share with us!

I'll share :)

I'm currently in the 94 billionth revision of my current WIP (okay, so that may be hyperbolic), just leading up to the midpoint reveal, but I might go back and rework a bit of the opening scenes first. I'd have liked to be done with this one by now, but slow and steady wins the race, right?

It always amazes me how long editing can take for some projects, how quick it can go for others, and how much work writing really is. This is definitely the stage that takes the most perseverance --when you're on your 94 billionth revision. :-)

Hahahhahaa! I just had to drop in to say that I LOVE that coffee mug.

LOVE. (Also, I'm finally getting down to business on a work-for-hire project, and needed a couple days to think about where the W-I-P was going. I think I know now, so yeah. Should probably write something down before I forget!)

Thanks, Cathy! It's always nice when you can take the time to step back and think about the bigger picture. And hopefully that work-for-hire project won't keep you occupied for too long, now that you know what you want to do. :-) Good luck! and DO write it down if you haven't all ready! (because...you know-- Murphy's Law) :-)
